St. George Spirits Dry Rye Gin is a warm and spicy gin from St. George Spirits in Alameda, California — one of the pioneering craft distilleries in the American spirits movement since 1982 — presenting a unique character that pairs beautifully with bitters, citrus, stone fruit, and ginger, ideal for classic cocktails like the Negroni, Martinez, and Gin Buck as well as fresh twists on Old Fashioneds that traditionally call for rye whiskey.
St. George Spirits was established in 1982 in Alameda as one of America’s first craft distilleries. The Dry Rye Gin uses rye as the base spirit rather than neutral grain spirit, giving the gin its characteristic warm and spicy backbone that behaves more like a rye whiskey than a standard London Dry in cocktails. The botanical programme is designed to work in harmony with the rye character for cocktail performance.

Frequently Asked Questions
What makes St. George Dry Rye Gin different from standard London Dry?
The Dry Rye Gin uses rye as the base spirit rather than neutral grain alcohol. The rye base contributes the characteristically warm, spicy, and grainy backbone that makes this gin behave more like a rye whiskey in cocktails — particularly suited for drinks where that warm and spicy character is the goal (Negroni, Martinez, Old Fashioned riffs).
