Refined, bold, and expertly crafted, the S.T. Dupont Limited Edition Ligne 2 Diamond Drops lighter is an exceptional example of S.T. Dupont’s combination of fine jewelry craftsmanship and traditional lacquer work. Released as part of S.T. Dupont’s 2010 collection, this numbered edition is finished in mirror-polished palladium with deep black Laque de Chine panels, creating a clean and understated contrast that highlights the lighter’s architectural Ligne 2 profile.
Its defining feature is a horizontal row of 14 brilliant-cut natural diamonds set across the front of the lighter with precise symmetry and subtle brilliance. According to the included certificate of authenticity, the diamonds total 0.35 carats and are graded G VS2 quality, offering excellent clarity and brightness without overpowering the minimalist design.
Beyond its jewelry-inspired presentation, the Diamond Drops edition remains a fully functional Ligne 2 soft flame lighter, produced in France with the precision fit and finish collectors expect from S.T. Dupont’s flagship lighter line. The combination of palladium, Chinese lacquer, and certified diamonds makes this a particularly collectible modern limited edition for both Dupont enthusiasts and luxury accessory collectors.
