The Brewing cut is SSP’s filter burr: very low fines and very high clarity, which lets a good coffee come through separated and clean. Red Speed keeps a touch more body than Silver Knight, so it is the pick if you want a filter burr that can still pull a long-ratio shot.
Compatibility
Cut for the Mazzer Major and the 83mm Mazzer bolt pattern. Fitment is the same across every SSP 83mm geometry.
- Mazzer Major, Major V and Major Electronic
- Turin DF83 and DF83V
- Mazzer ZM (listed by SSP retailers for this burr)
- Ceado E37S, E37SD and E37SL (listed by SSP retailers)
- Niche Duo (listed by SSP retailers)
Fiorenzato F83 and Compak E8 owners: the factory burr sizes look right on paper, but we have not seen a confirmed swap. Ask us before you order and we will check with SSP.
