SSP MPV2 burrs with the Red Speed coating give the most flavour clarity of the range and shine on light roasts. Strong flavour separation and a light body make for unusual, rewarding shots, though they can be hard work to dial in.
- Coffee style: modern espresso and pour over
- Taste profile: light bodied, high clarity
- Roast level: light
- Mounting: blind
Compatibility
This is a blind burr set. The mounting holes are left undrilled and the burrs are machined to locate in the Zerno Z1's burr pockets, so they sit exactly where the Z1 was built to hold them and a swap takes minutes.
- Zerno Z1, the only grinder these fit
Blind burrs have no screw holes, so they will not mount in anything else. If you want this geometry for a Fellow Ode, DF64, Lagom P64 or Mazzer, buy the standard drilled version instead.
