Tasting Notes: Aromatic and layered, Sober Spirits "R" Rum 0.0% delivers the classic character of aged rum. Expect subtle woodiness, notes of caramelized dried fruit, and a gentle hint of vanilla. The result is a warm and balanced profile, ideal for premium alcohol-free cocktails.
Sober Spirits Rum begins its journey in the French Caribbean, where it is traditionally distilled at 65% ABV. It then travels to Grasse, France, known as the world’s perfume capital, where the alcohol is gently removed, leaving a spirit with 0.0% ABV. The extracted ethanol is sustainably repurposed for use in high-end perfumery.
The rum is then brought to a historic distillery in the heart of France, established in 1875. Here, it is redistilled in century-old pot stills with French oak bark, a process that deepens and matures its flavour profile. This technique preserves the complexity, smooth texture, and long finish of aged rum, without any alcohol or added sugar.
Use it just like traditional rum (1-2 oz per cocktail) for a full-flavoured, alcohol-free experience in everything from a Mojito to a Rum Punch.
