SNAPPY Butter Flavored Coconut Oil is a refined coconut oil blended and naturally colored with beta carotene to recreate movie-theater butter flavor for home popcorn.
Bring the aroma and taste of concession-stand popcorn to your kitchen with SNAPPY’s butter flavored coconut oil. Made from 100% refined non-GMO coconut oil and tinted with natural beta carotene, this versatile oil melts at roughly 76°F and can be used solid or liquid without smoking or burning. It’s crafted to pair with SNAPPY kernels and works in popcorn machines, stovetop poppers, air poppers (for drizzling after popping), and everyday cooking tasks. Packaged in a convenient 15-ounce jar, this oil comes from a family-run company with decades of popcorn expertise.
How does this oil recreate movie-theater popcorn flavor?
SNAPPY’s formulation blends refined coconut oil with a butter flavor and natural beta carotene coloring to deliver the signature buttery scent and golden look of concession popcorn. It is designed to coat kernels evenly for consistent flavor and aroma during popping.
- Butter flavoring developed to mimic theater butter notes without dairy solids
- Beta carotene provides natural golden color, no artificial dyes
- Refined coconut oil for a neutral base that crisps kernels well
- Suitable for popcorn machines and stovetop popping for even heat transfer
Will it work with my popcorn equipment and popping method?
Yes. SNAPPY Butter Flavored Coconut Oil is compatible with a wide range of popping methods. It becomes liquid at warm temperatures and stays stable under typical popping heat, making it safe for multiple uses and machine types.
- Popcorn machines: pours easily and distributes flavor consistently
- Stovetop makers and saucepans: melts quickly for fast kernel coating
- Air poppers: use a small amount melted or drizzle after popping for buttered finish
- Repeated melt/solidify cycles are safe without smoking or burning
Is this product suitable for dietary preferences and other cooking uses?
SNAPPY Butter Flavored Coconut Oil is vegan and gluten-free and contains zero trans fats. While formulated for popcorn, it is a versatile pantry oil useful for sautéing, roasting, and finishing snacks where a buttery flavor is desired without dairy.
- Vegan and gluten-free alternative to dairy butter for flavoring popcorn
- Zero trans fats and no added preservatives
- Works as a cooking oil for vegetables, roasted nuts, and snack recipes
- Natural coloring from beta carotene rather than artificial dyes
How should I store and use the 15 oz jar for best results?
Store the jar at room temperature away from direct heat; the oil will solidify below about 76°F and liquefy above that point. Warm briefly to return to liquid, and measure according to your recipe—typically 1–3 tablespoons per batch of popcorn depending on kernel quantity and preference.
- Keep in a cool, dark pantry to preserve flavor and color
- For stovetop popping, preheat oil until liquid but not smoking
- For drizzling after air-popping, gently melt and pour for even coverage
- Safe to melt and resolidify repeatedly without performance loss
Who is this for? Home cooks and movie-night hosts who want authentic concession-style popcorn at home without dairy, people seeking a vegan-friendly buttery flavor option, and concession operators or small businesses that value a reliable, flavorful popping oil from a long-standing popcorn family brand. If you want consistently golden, aromatic popcorn using a product made specifically for kernels and popping equipment, SNAPPY Butter Flavored Coconut Oil is a practical pantry choice that pairs especially well with SNAPPY kernels and concession machines.
