Produced by Seven Seals Innovation in Switzerland, Seven Seals Sherry Wood Finish is a Swiss single malt finished in ex-Sherry casks using the producer’s distinctive maturation process. Bottled at 46% ABV, it has a rich, dessert-like profile built around toffee, gingerbread, roasted almonds and sweet baking spices. The Sherry influence adds dried-fruit and nutty depth, while orange and caramel notes carry through the long finish.
Food Pairing: Roasted pork, aged cheese, roasted almonds, fruit cake, dark chocolate, or caramel desserts with orange and warming spices.
Tasting Notes: Rich and sweet, balancing toffee and caramel with gingerbread, roasted almonds, dried fruit, sweet spices and a touch of orange.
Nose: Sweet and aromatic, with toffee, gingerbread and roasted almonds accompanied by candy-like sweetness, dried fruit and warming baking spices.
Palate: Soft and rounded, developing rich toffee and nut flavours alongside caramel, Sherry-driven fruit and gentle spice.
Finish: Long and warming, with lingering toffee, roasted almonds, sweet spice and a distinctive touch of orange.
Serve: Enjoy neat at room temperature in a Glencairn or tulip-shaped whisky glass; a few drops of water can bring forward additional fruit, caramel and spice.
