Scorpion Real Reposado Mezcal comes from Oaxaca, Mexico, and is made from 100% espadin agave under maestro mezcalero Douglas French. It is double distilled, then rested in French oak barrels for several months before bottling at 40% ABV. True to the brand, each bottle holds a real scorpion. Find the rest of the range in our Scorpion mezcal lineup.
Expect a golden pour with lanolin and honey on the nose. The soft palate mixes honey and caramel with green herbs, flax, salt and mild spice, then dries out to honey and oak.
Sip it neat or over one big cube, or stir it into a mezcal old fashioned. It suits anyone who likes a softer, oak-touched mezcal, and there is more to try in our mezcal collection.
