Royal Salute 62 Gun Salute sits at the absolute pinnacle of luxury blended Scotch—built not just for drinking, but for collecting and display. It delivers extraordinary richness, layered depth, and a sense of occasion that few whiskies can match. This is less about everyday consumption and more about prestige, rarity, and statement-level gifting.
Origins & Craftsmanship
Produced by Chivas Brothers, the Royal Salute line was originally created in 1953 to honor Queen Elizabeth II, with every expression reflecting royal ceremonial tradition.
The 62 Gun Salute represents the brand’s highest ceremonial tribute—named after the 62-gun salute, the most prestigious honor in British royal tradition.
This whisky is crafted from a selection of exceptional, long-aged malt and grain whiskies, drawn from casks personally reserved by Royal Salute’s master blenders over many years. These components are carefully married to create a blend of remarkable depth and balance, far exceeding standard age expectations for blended Scotch.
Presentation is central to the experience: the whisky is housed in a handcrafted sapphire-blue Dartington crystal decanter, finished with intricate detailing inspired by the Crown Jewels—positioning it as both a luxury object and a spirit.
