Ross-On-Wye Raison D'Etre Cider
Discover the authentic flavours of Herefordshire with Ross on Wye Cider & Perry. They are a celebrated local producer dedicated to crafting exceptional cider and perry from the county's finest orchards.
This release continues the farm’s tradition of natural cidermaking, showing both purity of fruit and the subtle influence of careful ageing. Every bottle is finished with hand-numbering, making this a true small-batch cider rooted in authenticity.
- Ross-On-Wye Raison D'Etre Cider is wild fermented in oak casks and bottle conditioned
- Shows ripe bittersweet apple flavours with gentle tannins
- Rolling fruit notes layered with subtle spice and warming barrel character
- Natural complexity, yet balanced and harmonious in style
This cider pairs beautifully with roasted meats, slow-cooked pork, or mature cheeses. The balance of fruit, tannin, and barrel influence also complements seasonal vegetarian dishes such as wild mushroom risotto or roasted root vegetables.
