Rodriguez Cigars Primera Clase Perfecto
Rodriguez Cigars has been hand rolling in Key West since 1984, the oldest cigar maker in the Florida Keys, and Primera Clase is their signature blend. It's built around a Mexican San Andrés wrapper over a Nicaraguan binder, with an aged Nicaraguan filler that spends four full years maturing before it ever gets rolled. The box-pressed Perfecto shape carries the same navy and gold banding across the whole line, with crossed keys marking the brand's Key West roots.
That long aging shows up in the smoke, a medium to full-bodied profile built around cedar, espresso, and toasted spice, rounded out by rich nuttiness, nutmeg, and cocoa that finishes creamy. It's a complex, deliberate blend that rewards a bit of patience, made for someone who wants real craftsmanship in every draw.
