Rocky Patel is renowned for his milestone birthday cigars, and the Rocky Patel Sixty is the most sumptuous, highly rated offering yet. Released in honor of Patel's 60th trip around the Sun, the Sixty series has been hailed as an instant classic by critics and connoisseurs alike. The Sixty Robusto is a 91-rated favorite that takes the Rocky Patel cigar experience to another level.
The Rocky Patel Sixty Robusto is a box-pressed jewel handmade at Rocky Patel's TAVICUSA factory in Nicaragua. A gorgeously textured Mexican San Andres wrapper leaf covers a Nicaraguan binder and filler blend. What sets the cigar apart is an additional two years of aging after the cigar is rolled. This gives the tantalizing 5 ½" x 50 smoke a luxuriously smooth and complex character.
Once this sensory treasure is underway, the palate is bathed in endlessly flowing leather, earth, coffee, and cocoa flavors. Red and black pepper notes provide a bold structure, while a dash of nut and spice hints keep the tastebuds entertained. The smoke is fabulously smooth from its medium-bodied beginning until its medium-to-full-bodied, expertly choreographed backend.
The Rocky Patel Sixty Robusto is a captivating super-premium offering that is indeed worthy of a very special occasion. Do it right and treat yourself to a Sixty Robusto after a great dinner spread with your favorite well-aged, top-shelf spirits.
