Rocky Patel has created some magnificent cigars over the years, but perhaps none has made an impact like the Rocky Patel Decade. Known for his popular everyday smokes, Rocky Patel was launched into the stratosphere of cigar elite with the unveiling of his super-premium Decade series. And one of the line’s all-stars is the perky Rocky Patel Decade Forty Six.
The box-pressed Forty Six is a spirited 4 ½” x 46 stick that is overflowing with personality. A dark Ecuadorian Sumatra wrapper leaf surrounds a blend of Nicaraguan filler tobaccos that are held fast by a Nicaraguan binder. This 40 minute or so smoke is ideal for those who want a great cigar without a serious time commitment.
Once the Decade Forty Six is aflame and smoke begins to billow from its superior draw, thick flavors of cedar, pepper and earth exuberantly greet the palate. Chocolate and spice nuances also enter the ever-changing character of the medium-to-full bodied smoke and float upon an undercurrent of nuts and cream, as a slightly sweet burst crowns the smooth, elegant finish.
Not only is the tasty Rocky Patel Decade Forty Six one of the most deliciously satisfying smokes on the market, it is also a cigar that will fit almost any time slot or occasion, making it a perfect choice for just about every aficionado out there.
