This 6 x 60 Gordo features a rich, dark Corojo wrapper that encases a carefully selected blend of Nicaraguan and Honduran filler tobaccos, held together by a sturdy Nicaraguan binder. The result is a medium-to-full-bodied smoke that bursts with complex flavors, including deep notes of dark chocolate, roasted coffee, and a touch of sweet caramel, all underscored by a subtle earthiness. Perfect for those who crave a robust yet balanced experience, the Catch 22 Gordo is a testament to Rocky Patel’s knack for crafting premium cigars at an accessible price point.
From the first light, the Catch 22 Gordo impresses with its flawless construction and smooth draw, producing thick clouds of aromatic smoke and a firm, even ash. Its flavor profile evolves beautifully, introducing hints of leather and black pepper in the second third, while maintaining a creamy undertone that keeps the experience refined. The cigar’s larger ring gauge enhances its slow, cool burn, allowing ample time to savor each nuanced layer. Whether enjoyed after a hearty meal or during a relaxed evening with friends, this Gordo elevates any moment with its satisfying depth and impeccable consistency.
Designed for cigar enthusiasts who demand quality and character, the Rocky Patel Catch 22 Gordo is a versatile addition to any humidor. Its striking appearance, with a glossy wrapper and expertly crafted cap, pairs perfectly with its dynamic taste, making it ideal for both casual smokers and connoisseurs. The final third brings a gentle spice and a touch of oak, rounding out a smoke that remains engaging to the very end.
