Screaming Titan is Redwood Empire's wheated bourbon, drawn from a four-grain mash bill that carries at least 30% wheat. Barrels are chosen by hand from small lots and rest a minimum of five years, giving a 48% ABV whiskey with even balance and depth across the palate. The 750 ml bottle opens with rich caramel and vanilla, then moves through oak, toasted nuts and a smooth sweetness that holds on the finish.
Maturation happens on the Northern California coast, where redwoods more than 2,000 years old grow and mild, temperate conditions let flavor build slowly and evenly in the barrel. The name comes from a 323-foot coastal redwood standing in the Grove of Titans, tying the release to the region's pioneering roots and to the distillery's focus on careful craft.
