A wheated bourbon from Redwood Empire, bottled at 94 proof (47% ABV) in a 750 ml format. The mash bill runs 59% corn, 30% wheat, 6% rye and 5% malt barley, with the whiskey aged upwards of 14 years and married from 122 barrels into a deep golden blend.
The texture is soft and rounded, carrying layers of ripe stone fruit alongside vanilla and honeyed grain. A hint of strawberry Uncrustables and gentle baking spice fill in behind, closing on smooth oak. The name honors Colonel James Armstrong, who preserved what is now Armstrong Woods by gifting the land to his daughter, and the distillery plants trees with every bottle sold.
