Redbreast Tawny Port Cask Edition emerges as a distinguished member of the prestigious Redbreast family, embodying the rich tradition of Irish whiskey craftsmanship. Produced at the historic Midleton Distillery in Cork, Ireland, this limited edition single pot still whiskey showcases a remarkable journey of maturation. Initially aged in a harmonious blend of bourbon and oloroso sherry casks, it undergoes a meticulous finishing process in select tawny port casks from Portugal's esteemed Douro Valley. This unique aging process, lasting between 14 to 25 months in tawny port hogsheads, introduces a complex and layered flavor profile, enriching the whiskey with a depth of character and a tapestry of aromatic nuances.
