Red Bird Soft Peppermint Candy Mint Puffs are melt-away, individually wrapped peppermint candies made with 100% real peppermint oil and no artificial red dye, packaged in a 52 oz tub.
These classic soft peppermint puffs deliver a clean, natural mint flavor and a pillowy texture that dissolves smoothly on the tongue. Handcrafted in Lexington, North Carolina, Red Bird keeps a traditional recipe while using natural color instead of Red 40, so each piece has a slightly unique appearance. The large 52 oz tub is designed for shared spaces — reception desks, office kitchens, event candy stations — and every mint is individually wrapped to preserve freshness and hygiene.
What makes these mints different from hard peppermint candies?
Unlike hard candies, Red Bird Soft Peppermint Candy Mint Puffs are formulated to melt rather than break, creating a gentle, long-lasting release of natural peppermint oil. The texture is soft and smooth, avoiding chalkiness or brittle shards.
- Soft, melt-away texture that dissolves on the tongue.
- Made with pure cane sugar and 100% real peppermint oil.
- No artificial flavors, no high fructose corn syrup, and no preservatives.
- Individually wrapped for freshness and cleanliness.
Are these mints safe for people with common allergies or dietary restrictions?
Red Bird peppermint puffs are produced in a facility free from the top nine allergens and are formulated to be inclusive for many diets. They carry several certifications that help shoppers quickly verify suitability.

How is the product packaged and where is it best used?
The 52 oz tub contains individually wrapped mint puffs that are easy to dispense and keep hygienic in shared environments. The tub’s size and presentation make it ideal for both short-term events and long-term placement in high-traffic areas.
- Large 52 oz resealable tub designed for counters and communal spaces.
- Individually wrapped pieces for on-the-go convenience and hygiene.
- Fits at weddings, baby showers, office candy dishes, reception desks, and coffee stations.
- Signature red-striped look applied by hand with natural color.
How long do the mints stay fresh and what should I expect in appearance?
Individually wrapping each piece helps maintain flavor and texture over time; the tub also reseals to limit exposure to air. Because the stripes are applied by hand and natural coloring is used, pieces can vary subtly in size and coloration, reflecting the handcrafted process.
- Individually wrapped to lock in freshness and flavor.
- Resealable tub reduces air exposure after opening.
- Natural coloring and hand-stripes mean slight variations between pieces.
- Best stored in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
