Quinta Do Noval Cedro Do Noval Douro White
This Douro white blend combines Viosinho, Gouveio, Rabigato, Fernao Pires, Codega de Larinho and Arinto from hillside vineyards. Quinta do Noval, one of Portugal’s most respected estates, selects indigenous grapes to reflect the region’s distinctive character.
Fermentation occurs mainly in stainless steel, with 20 percent in French oak barrels for added structure. Five months of ageing with regular batonnage develops a rounded mouthfeel while maintaining vibrant aromatics and balanced acidity.
- It opens with a fresh nose of citrus, white fruit and delicate florals.
- The palate is elegant and poised, combining crisp acidity with layers of orchard fruit and a touch of mineral complexity.
- The finish is long and vibrant, lifted by citrus zest and subtle resin notes that linger gracefully.
Ideal with seafood and fish, grilled chicken or vegetarian dishes featuring fresh herbs.
