Yuzu is a citrus fruit that resembles a small grapefruit but with a distinctively tart and fragrant flavor. Its bright yellow-orange skin conceals a juicy and aromatic pulp that is prized for its complex citrus notes, which combine elements of lemon, lime, and mandarin. The yuzu fruit has long been cherished in Japanese cuisine for its versatility and its ability to elevate dishes with its vibrant taste.
