The Herb Pro is Professor Herb's take on a no-nonsense portable dry herb vaporizer. It's compact, it charges over USB-C, and it does the one thing a starter vaporizer needs to do — heat your herbs cleanly and consistently without the bulk or price tag of a flagship device.
If this is your first dry herb vape, the learning curve is short. Press the button, wait for the chamber to warm up, and draw. The stainless steel heating element keeps temperature steady through a session, and the included cleaning brush plus replacement screen mean you've got everything to keep it running properly from day one.
What makes it work
- 316L stainless steel chamber — the same medical-grade alloy used in pricier devices. Doesn't taint vapour, easy to clean.
- 900mAh battery — enough for six to eight sessions on a single charge in normal use.
- USB-C charging — same cable as your phone. No proprietary adaptor to lose.
- One-click operation — single button cycles power and temperature. No app, no menus, no faff.
- Replacement chamber screen included — most budget vapes don't ship with one. This does.
Who it's for
If you're new to dry herb vaping or you want a backup unit that doesn't cost the earth, the Herb Pro covers the basics properly. It won't out-vape a Storz & Bickel — at six times the price, neither would we expect it to. What it will do is give you a real conduction vape with proper specs at the lowest reasonable entry point in the UK market.
If you're after the cleanest possible vapour or session-long flavour preservation, you'll want to step up to a convection or hybrid unit. We'll have those listed soon. For everyone else, this does the job.

How to get the most out of it
Three things make a budget conduction vape work properly:
- Grind fine and even. A coarse grind in a conduction vape gives you uneven heating — some bits scorched, some bits raw. A proper grinder pays for itself the first session.
- Don't overpack. A loose-medium pack lets heat circulate. Tamping it down kills airflow.
- Clean it. Brush the chamber after every few sessions, swap the screen when it stops looking shiny. Five minutes of maintenance keeps it tasting clean for years.
Frequently asked questions
Is the Herb Pro legal in the UK?
Yes. Dry herb vaporizers are legal to own and use in the UK as devices. What you put in them is your own responsibility — only legal herbs and aromatherapy blends should be used.
What can I use in it?
The Herb Pro is designed for dried botanicals — chamomile, lavender, mint, eucalyptus and other aromatherapy herbs all vaporise well in a conduction chamber.
How long does the battery last?
Roughly six to eight sessions per full charge in typical use. Heavy use or higher temperature settings will pull that down a bit. Full charge takes around 90 minutes over USB-C.
Does it work with concentrates or wax?
No — it's a dry herb device only. Putting concentrates in the chamber will damage the heating element and void any return claim.
How do I clean it?
Brush the chamber after every four to six sessions. For a deeper clean, use the supplied swabs with a small amount of isopropyl alcohol on the chamber walls and mouthpiece. Don't submerge the device — the battery and electronics aren't waterproof.
What's the warranty?
12-month UK warranty against manufacturing defects. Doesn't cover damage from misuse, dropped devices, or use with non-herb materials.
This product does not contain nicotine. This product does not contain CBD or THC. The device is supplied empty — for use with legal herbs only.
