The Produttori del Barbaresco Langhe Nebbiolo originates from the Langhe DOC in the Piedmont region of Northern Italy. Founded in 1958, this historic cooperative is composed of 54 families who collectively tend 100 hectares of premium vineyards to produce exclusively Nebbiolo based wines. Their winemaking philosophy centers on a dedication to the heritage of the Barbaresco commune, ensuring that even their entry level Langhe Nebbiolo offers an immediate and authentic expression of the grape's personality and the unique terroir.
Wine Description
This 100% Nebbiolo presents a ruby red colour with a medium body. The aromatic profile is defined by intense red fruits, specifically strawberries and ripe cherries, accented by spicy notes of white pepper, anise, and tea leaves. On the palate, the wine is balanced and fresh, featuring bright fruit flavours supported by medium tannins and a lingering, spicy finish.
Food Pairing
The vibrant acidity and firm tannins of this Nebbiolo make it an excellent companion for savoury Italian dishes. It pairs exceptionally well with pastas featuring simple meat sauces, wood fired pizzas, or a classic porcini mushroom risotto.
