While Malbec is widely considered the golden child of Argentinian wine, Cabernet Sauvignon is undeniably the dark horse. Our PrimaZona Cabernet Sauvignon showcases this French variety’s soaring success in the high-altitude vineyards of Mendoza. This wine displays a balanced structure with savory aromas and rich dark fruit flavors. In these elevated vineyards, days are dry and hot. Steep temperatures are mitigated by cool evening winds from the Andes Mountains, creating a significant contrast between daytime and nighttime temperatures. This allows our Cabernet Sauvignon grapes to develop ripe, fruit-focused characteristics while maintaining the distinct structure shaped by Mendoza’s unique climate. Those familiar with Cabernet can expect the fruit-focused nature of Californian styles, with the firmer mouthfeel akin to Bordeaux. Serve this wine at room temperature alongside hearty dinners enjoyed with family and friends. Scroll through the image carousel above to learn more about this wine.
