The Plasencia Cosecha 149 Azacualpa cigar is a remarkable expression of the Plasencia family's legacy, blending centuries of tradition with modern expertise to create a smoke that is as bold as it is refined. This exclusive release, part of the esteemed Cosecha 149 line, is crafted from a selection of tobaccos harvested from the Plasencia family's legendary farms in Azacualpa, a region known for its rich soil and ideal growing conditions. The “Cosecha 149” moniker marks the 149th harvest, underscoring the meticulous care and patience involved in creating this extraordinary blend.
The Azacualpa features a gorgeous 6" x 52 Toro made in an oily wrapper that glistens with natural oils, hinting at the depth of flavor within. Once lit, the cigar opens with a bold yet balanced profile, offering complex layers of flavor that evolve gracefully from start to finish. Rich, earthy notes of leather and toasted tobacco greet the palate, accompanied by sweet undertones of cocoa and dried fruits. As the cigar progresses, subtle hints of spice and white pepper emerge, creating a harmonious dance of flavors that is both exciting and refined.
The strength of the Azacualpa is medium-to-full-bodied, allowing for a satisfying complexity without overwhelming the senses. Its smooth draw and dense, creamy smoke provide a luxurious experience with each puff, making it an ideal choice for both seasoned cigar enthusiasts and those new to the Plasencia brand alike.
The Cosecha 149 Azacualpa is more than just a cigar; it’s a journey through the Plasencia family’s commitment to quality, heritage, and the artistry of tobacco cultivation.
