The Plasencia Alma del Campo Madroño is the grandest expression in the Alma del Campo family — a 6½" × 58 Gordo built for long, luxurious smoking sessions. Composed entirely of Plasencia-grown Nicaraguan tobaccos, it delivers smooth strength and refined flavor in a large format that never feels heavy-handed. This is a cigar designed for depth, patience, and reward.
Lighting up reveals layers of hazelnut, cocoa, and light pepper, with undertones of coffee and toasted oak weaving through the smoke. The broad ring gauge enhances the draw and cools the burn, allowing the flavors to develop slowly and evenly. As it burns, a gentle sweetness and creamy finish emerge, leaving the palate warm and satisfied.
The Madroño’s construction is exceptional — tight seams, balanced weight, and an even combustion from start to finish. Despite its size, the cigar remains refined, showing that big can also mean beautifully balanced. It’s the kind of cigar you settle in with — one that invites reflection and appreciation.
Since 1865, the Plasencia family has built its name on quality and integrity, from the seed to the final roll. The Alma del Campo Madroño continues that legacy, offering a premium Nicaraguan experience that’s as bold as it is elegant.
