Distilled from cider apples in Normandy, this 750 ml apple brandy carries the Pays d'Auge appellation, the region's officially recognized designation for calvados. It is bottled at 40% ABV in the VS grade, a younger expression where the fruit stays at the front of the glass.
The aging is foundational rather than lengthy, so the oak sits alongside fresh apple rather than covering it. Expect honey and a touch of vanilla through the middle, with integrated barrel character and a fruity close that reflects traditional Normandy distilling practice.
