Crafted in France’s prestigious Burgundy region, this wine hails from the Côte d'Or—Burgundy’s historic heartland renowned for its expressive terroirs. Philippe Bouzereau, a ninth-generation winemaker at Domaine Michel Bouzereau in Meursault, continues his family’s legacy of precision and respect for the land. Known for producing elegant, terroir-driven wines, the estate focuses on meticulous vineyard practices and minimal intervention winemaking to express the purest character of their plots.
Pale gold in the glass, this Chardonnay opens with delicate aromas of white flowers, ripe orchard fruit, and a touch of lemon zest. On the palate, it offers a graceful balance of crisp minerality and round texture, featuring flavours of pear, green apple, and subtle toasted almond. The medium-bodied structure is fresh and vibrant, carrying through to a clean, lingering finish with saline and citrus undertones. Made entirely from Chardonnay, it reflects the classic Côte d'Or style—refined, focused, and age-worthy for 3 to 5 years from vintage.
Food Pairing
Pair this wine with pan-seared scallops, roasted chicken with herbs, or creamy mushroom risotto. A perfect match to enhance the wine's complexity.
