Phantom Creek Estates is a landmark, state of the art winery located near Oliver, dedicated to producing terroir driven estate wines through organic and biodynamic viticulture. Crafted with guidance from Alsace master winemaker Olivier Humbrecht MW, the estate's Riesling program showcases depth, richness, and pristine minerality. Sourced from well exposed, gravelly vineyard sites on the Black Sage Bench, multiple harvest passes ensure maximum complexity and acidity retention in every bottle.
Wine Description
This 2022 vintage reveals a brilliant pale straw colour with greenish reflections in the glass. The nose is highly aromatic and perfume forward, opening with scents of fresh white blossom, crisp green apple, white peach, and vibrant lime zest. On the palate, it delivers an energetic tension between ripe fruit weight and electric, world class natural acidity. Concentrated flavours of yellow citrus, lemongrass, fresh lime, and orchard fruit unfold alongside a delicate flinty and chalky mineral edge. Crafted as a 100% Riesling single varietal expression, the wine was matured for 5 months in traditional large Austrian oak casks to add weight and mouthfeel, followed by finishing in stainless steel to preserve pristine freshness.
