Pelotón de la Muerte Mezcal Artesanal (750mL) is a Maguey Espadín mezcal produced in Santiago Matatlán, Oaxaca. The exact expression is made with traditional methods and bottled at 41% ABV and 82 proof in a single 750mL bottle.
The producer describes this mezcal as clean and well balanced, with a smoke profile intended to remain approachable rather than overpowering. The front label identifies Mezcal Artesanal, Maguey Espadín, and Matatlán, Oaxaca. Its package artwork references the “Brigade of Death” name and imagery connected to insurgents from the period of the Mexican Revolution.
Serve neat or in a tasting glass to explore the spirit on its own, or use it in cocktails that call for balanced mezcal character. It can replace another agave spirit in citrus-forward drinks or be paired with soda for a simple highball. This listing contains one 750mL bottle of Pelotón de la Muerte Mezcal Artesanal.
