General Cigar Company, makers of Macanudo and Punch, is known for their expansive brand extensions and perhaps no other line addition caused as much of a stir as the Partagas Black Label. The Black Label is quite a departure from the original Partagas and one puff of these dark beauties will have you frantically clearing space in your humidor.
The Black Label Maximo is a perfectly-sized 6” x 50 stick that emerges from its sleek black tube with an intoxicating aroma and shimmering black appearance. The dark Sun Grown Connecticut Medio Tiempo wrapper was developed especially for this blend and hides rich Nicaraguan Ligero and Dominican Piloto Cubano Ligero filler tobaccos that are encased in a proprietary Dominican La Vega Especial binder.
A perfect draw and burn will give way to rich espresso and thick dark chocolate flavors, while notes of pepper and spice neatly tie the full-bodied smoke together. Subtle citrus nuances tease the palate until a big and robust finish. The Maximo Tubo will bring over an hour of fantastical smoking pleasure.
The Partagas Black Label Maximo Tubo makes an ideal gift for that certain aficionado and will prove an amazing cigar for those on the go. Try the Maximo after a grilled Tri-tip with your favorite Whiskey and let your taste-buds be swept away on one seriously mouth-watering ride.
