90 points, Cigar Authority
The Padrón Dámaso No. 15 is a masterclass in understated elegance, offering the meticulous construction of a Padrón in a refined Toro format. By choosing a silky Ecuadorian Connecticut wrapper, the Padrón family has created a smoke that is incredibly smooth and voluminous, making it an ideal choice for a luxurious morning or afternoon session.
While it eschews the intense strength of the Anniversary lines, the Dámaso No. 15 does not lack character; it provides a complex tapestry of toasted cedar, creamy nuts, and soft spices. It is a quintessential selection for the aficionado who demands the best in quality but prefers a gentler, more nuanced palate.
