The Leaf by Oscar Maduro Lancero is a distinctive 7" × 38 cigar handcrafted in Honduras, featuring a dark, oily Nicaraguan Jalapa Maduro wrapper over Honduran binder and filler tobaccos. Long and slender, the Lancero offers a particularly flavourful expression of Oscar Valladares' popular Maduro blend, combining rich tobacco character with an appealing balance of sweetness and spice.
The profile delivers notes of mocha, dark chocolate, cedar and leather, complemented by white pepper, coffee and a delicate honey-like sweetness. The slender ring gauge gives the wrapper a prominent role in the smoking experience, while the seven-inch length allows the flavours to develop gradually.
Fog & Flame Notes: There's something special about a well-made Lancero. At just 38 ring gauge, this traditional, elegant format places greater emphasis on the wrapper tobacco, allowing the rich Jalapa Maduro leaf to take center stage. And then there's the unmistakable Leaf by Oscar presentation: each cigar arrives wrapped in a natural tobacco leaf rather than cellophane, which you peel away to reveal the beautifully finished Maduro underneath. For enthusiasts who appreciate slender vitolas, this is an excellent opportunity to experience Oscar Valladares' Maduro blend in a particularly expressive format.
