Orin Swift Abstract
A California red blend crafted from Grenache, Petite Sirah and Syrah, sourced from over 150 vineyard plots across the state. This geographic diversity allows for consistency and complexity in each vintage. Aged for eight months in French oak (31% new), the wine reflects Orin Swift’s bold, expressive style.
Founded by Dave Phinney, Orin Swift Cellars is known for its artistic labels and unconventional winemaking. The label features a collage of over 230 images, assembled over four weeks to mirror the wine’s layered composition.
- Aromas of raspberry, bing cherry, boysenberry and High Sierra forest floor
- Orin Swift Abstract shows charred meat, rhubarb, thyme and dark fruit core
- Long finish with maraschino cherry, smooth texture and lingering spice
Pairs well with grilled lamb, BBQ pork ribs or hearty pasta dishes.
