VELO Orange Spark delivers that proper Seville orange taste you're after - it's genuinely refreshing without being overpowering. Each slim pouch packs 10.9mg of nicotine (15.3mg/g), which sits nicely in the medium strength category.
The orange flavour here isn't artificial tasting like some brands I've tried. It's got that sweet citrusy kick from start to finish, though I'll be honest - the flavour does fade quicker than their mint variants. Still decent though.
You get 20 pouches per pack in VELO's standard slim format. They're comfortable under the lip and don't feel bulky, which is handy if you're using them discretely at work or out and about. The pouch material feels sturdy enough and doesn't tear easily.
VELO manufacture these using fibres from Scandinavian pine and eucalyptus, so there's an environmental angle if that matters to you. The production process is apparently eco-friendly too, though I can't verify that claim personally.
Here's the thing - if you enjoy citrus flavours but find lemon too sharp, Orange Spark hits the sweet spot. It's bright and zesty without that harsh bite. The nicotine delivery is consistent and kicks in within a few minutes.
One minor gripe: the tins can be a bit fiddly to open initially, but they loosen up after a few uses.
