Opus One 2023 is the flagship Napa Valley Bordeaux-style red blend from the Mondavi-Rothschild estate — a wine of harmony balancing structural seriousness with youthful brightness and superb aging potential.
Opus One is one of Napa Valley's most iconic wines, founded as a partnership between Robert Mondavi and Baron Philippe de Rothschild. The 2023 vintage presents a complex profile of red fruit, cherry blossom, and dried violet, with aromas of vanilla lending grace while graphite, forest floor, and tobacco signal structure. On the palate it is balanced and framed by silky tannins, with elderberry and cassis accented by black pepper and chocolate-covered orange peel, finishing on red plum and sweet oak.
