Ophidian has added another mesmerizing release to their award-winning portfolio. Our Shiraz is ripe and fruit forward with a smooth body and seductive red fruit notes. These small, thick-skinned grapes spend their summers under the intense rays of the South African sun in the Western Cape, where a warm Mediterranean climate allows the fruit to reach impressive ripeness levels and tames aggressive tannins. Cooling winds from the Atlantic Ocean sweep through winding rows of grapevines protecting the fruit from humidity and high temperatures. These forces of nature work in harmony to create a wine that showcases a balance of flavor and texture. Our Shiraz is decadent and worth stopping for and savoring. Keep it for yourself, or take it along to your next social event, where it is sure to captivate your friends and family. Scroll through the image carousel above to learn more about this wine.
