For most Oliva fans, the Oliva Serie V Melanio is at the top of the list, with a 96-point rating and the title of "#1 Cigar of the Year" from Cigar Aficionado in 2014. A rich combination of Nicaraguan binder and filler tobaccos is meticulously constructed in a beautiful box-pressed structure in a handful of classic shapes, all wrapped in an exceptional Ecuador Sumatra wrapper leaf.
Peppery aromas of caramel and oak are present in the medium to full-bodied character. The finish is dominated by a creaminess that distinguishes Serie V Melanio from the rest of the Oliva line thanks to its rich flavor, impeccable structure, and breathtaking perfume. Taste the Oliva brand's growth with a top-shelf classic you're sure to adore.
Cigar Aficionado Rated this cigar at 90 Points.
