Following the devastating fire that lost their Inglewood taproom in 2024, the brewery has continued to innovate through their "Sound Room" bar and partner brewing. This specific release is a sophisticated departure from the syrupy, malt-based coolers of the past. It is designed to be a "true" iced tea—brewed with real botanicals and actual tea leaves to provide a revitalizing, gently sparkling experience that tastes like it was made in a kitchen, not a lab.
Beverage Description
The Blueberry Lemon Iced Tea pours a vibrant, clear violet-to-crimson hue with a light, sparkling effervescence and a fleeting lace of bubbles.
Aroma: The nose is highly aromatic and "fresh." It leads with a dominant scent of jammy wild blueberries and bright lemon zest, followed by a distinct herbal undertone from the Honeybush tea base. There is a soft, natural honey-like sweetness that smells clean rather than sugary.
Palate: On the tongue, it is light-bodied and exceptionally refreshing. It leads with a burst of tart blueberry juice and citrus tang, which is immediately balanced by the earthy, rounded flavor of the tea. It is notably light on sugar, finishing very dry with a crisp, revitalizing "snap" that cleanses the palate.

Technical Notes: Unlike mass-market hard teas that use black tea and caffeine, Ol' Beautiful utilizes a custom Honeybush tea blend.
