The Appia Life 2 Group Volumetric XT is the top interface specification of Nuova Simonelli's full-size workhorse: volumetric dosing plus the XT display interface, which puts shot timing and programmable parameters on the front of the machine instead of behind a service panel.
What you get
- XT interface with display: shot timers, programmable dosing and machine settings accessible from the panel. Dial-in and dose changes happen on the bar, not in a service call.
- Programmable volumetric dosing: flow-metered dose buttons per group for consistent yields across every operator.
- 11 L heat-exchange boiler: full commercial steam and brew capacity with recovery for sustained two-group service.
- Soft Infusion System (SIS): progressive pre-infusion that evens out prep errors before full pressure.
- Full-size group spacing and push-pull steam levers: proper working room and one-hand steam control.
Choosing within the Appia Life range
XT is the pick if you want the shot data and front-panel programmability; the standard Volumetric does the same dosing job without the display for about two thousand less; the Semi-Automatic drops programmed doses entirely.
Best suited to
Specialty cafes on a budget that still rotate coffees and re-dial regularly, and operators standardising a fleet on one adjustable platform.
220V. A water softening system is mandatory: scale damage is not covered under warranty. Available in Black, White or Red. EasyCream automatic milk-foaming wand available as a factory option.
