The Oliva family created Studio Tobac as a think tank for cigar innovation and creativity built upon the collaboration between cigar makers and everyday enthusiasts. The results have been absolutely stunning and, with the NUB Habano 466, have redrawn the boundaries of what a great cigar should be.
The NUB Habano 466 is a uniquely stout 4” x 66 cigar that is surrounded by a velvety Habano wrapper leaf. The short yet thick core is formed around earthy Nicaraguan filler tobaccos which are tucked into a Nicaraguan binder leaf. The result is a beautifully-made cigar that may surprise with its methodical over an hour smoke.
As the NUB Habano 466 begins to unveil its secrets, lush earth and cedar notes ooze onto the palate. The medium-to-full bodied smoke brings further hints of spice and nuts into the fold, as bursts of cream douse the taste-buds during a gloriously long, delicious and fulfilling finish.
If you love great cigars then the NUB Habano 466 is a must and will prove as gratifying as it is intriguing. The folks at Studio Tobac set out to prove that a big smoke does not require overblown length and it is safe to say mission accomplished.
