Winemaking The 2023 vintage’s slow ripening and sustainable vineyard practices, paired with extended maceration and careful blending, have resulted in a Merlot of vibrant elegance, layered structure, and exceptional aging potential.
Vintage The 2023 vintage in Napa Valley stands out for its impeccable growing conditions, defined by a long, cool summer and delayed harvest. These factors allowed for extended hang time, resulting in wines with concentrated flavors, vibrant acidity, and beautifully integrated structure. Drawing from the diversity of volcanic and mountain terroirs, the wines are both complex and expressive, showcasing layers of fruit and earthy nuances. Winemakers used meticulous farming and winemaking techniques, including organic and sustainable practices, to craft a vintage of exceptional balance and long-term potential.
Pairing Logic This bold and fruit-forward, this Merlot is a natural companion for hearty dishes. Pair with rich red meats, earthy mushrooms, or dark chocolate desserts to complement its layered black fruit, structured tannins, and subtle spice.
