he My Father La Opulencia Torpedo (6.1 x 52) delivers a bold, refined smoking experience with added precision and elegance thanks to its tapered head. Wrapped in a dark, richly textured Mexican San Andrés Maduro wrapper and filled with expertly aged Nicaraguan long-fillers, this medium-to-full-bodied cigar offers deep flavors of dark chocolate, espresso, earth, cedar, and warm spice, finished with a subtle natural sweetness. The 52-ring gauge keeps the profile focused while allowing the blend’s richness to shine.
La Opulencia stands as one of the most celebrated creations from My Father Cigars, produced at the Garcia family’s award-winning factory in Estelí, Nicaragua. Crafted by legendary blender José “Pepín” Garcia alongside his son Jaime, this line reflects their mastery of fermentation, balance, and old-world Cuban technique fused with modern Nicaraguan power. The Torpedo vitola adds an extra layer of sophistication to an already acclaimed blend.
The tapered head of the Torpedo concentrates the draw, intensifying flavor delivery and creating a more focused smoking experience compared to round-headed vitolas. Construction is exceptional, with a smooth draw, even burn, and dense, aromatic smoke that evolves beautifully as the cigar opens up. Expect gradual transitions into notes of leather, black pepper, cocoa, and sweet earth as the cigar progresses.
Ideal for experienced smokers who appreciate both strength and nuance, the La Opulencia Torpedo (52 ring gauge) offers precision, complexity, and elegance in every draw—a refined expression of one of My Father’s most luxurious and highly rated blends.
