The My Father Cigars Le Bijou 1922 White Humidor celebrates one of the finest cigars of all time. This gorgeous, well-made humidor will remind you, every time you go to withdraw a cigar, of a smoke that firmly cemented My Father Cigars as a world-class manufacturer.
At that time, José “Don Pepin” Garcia had not yet joined the elite club of legendary cigar makers, at least not to the American audience of smokers. His Flor de las Antillas Cigar of the Year win in 2012 made him hugely popular, but it takes a couple of wins to really reach the upper echelon. Naturally, he got that second honorarium in 2015 when he blended up one of the tastiest cigars ever.
It took one of Cuba’s own cigar experts to really dethrone the best Cuban stogies.
The Le Bijou 1922 that Cigar Aficionado smoked that glorious year was a box-pressed torpedo, built for flawless drawing. It was a Nicaraguan puro that conveyed “uncanny impressions of dark chocolate-covered raisins [and] savory leather”. It also offered “a sweet-and-salty finish that resonates on the palate.” In short, it was one of those delicious, super satisfying smokes that you can’t believe tastes as good as it does, all the way through. You keep licking your lips, waiting for the flavor to disappear, but it never does. You’re just in smoking heaven.
With a cigar like that you just have to celebrate.
The My Father Cigars Le Bijou 1922 White Humidor is a vision in white and gold. It captures the best parts of MF branding and leaves you with the impression of awarding winning smokes at a glance. Turn the key and unlock the humidor to get at the treasures inside. While this listing does not include cigars, we imagine that purchasers will quickly find stogies to pack into this receptacle. Built-in humidifier and hygrometer installations will ensure that your cigars stay at the humidity levels you prefer (usually around 70%). The removable top tray allows you to showcase certain blends while preserving others in lower storage compartments. In all, this Le Bijou 1922 White Humidor can hold 75 cigars in its Spanish cedar-lined confines.
Here’s to one of the most enjoyable blends ever, and a permanent monument to a great moment in cigar history.
