My Father Blue Petit Robusto
The first release from My Father's new Honduran operation, Blue marks the Garcia family's expansion onto their own Finca La Opulencia farm, where Corojo and Criollo fillers grow specifically for this line. A silky Connecticut Broadleaf Rosado wrapper wraps around Honduran binder and filler, delivering a medium to full-bodied smoke built on cocoa, toasted cedar, and black pepper, with creamy coffee and a natural caramel sweetness rounding things out. Despite the size, this Petit Robusto punches above its weight, unfolding real complexity in a short, satisfying window.
Expect an evolving profile that moves from earthy spice and pepper up front into creamier coffee and toasted wood through the middle, before intensifying again toward a rich, spicy finish. Impeccable construction and an even burn make this an easy recommend for smokers who want a full experience without committing to a long smoke, and its striking blue and gold bands, a nod to the Honduran flag, make it a standout in any lineup.
