Murray McDavid Mission Gold Cameronbridge 32 Year Old is a limited-release Lowland single grain Scotch whisky distilled in 1992 and bottled in 2025 at 47.5% ABV. Matured in bourbon barrels and finished in first-fill rum casks from Guyana's historic Uitvlugt Distillery, it offers a silky, rich profile of buttery grain, fresh apple, vanilla fudge and sweet ginger. Notes of liquorice and chai spice lead into a mellow, warming finish of mature fruit and gentle spice. Limited to just 720 bottles worldwide.
Food Pairing: Roasted pork, aged Gouda, toasted almonds, apple tart, vanilla crème brûlée, caramel desserts or spiced pastries.
Tasting Notes: Silky and richly layered, with buttery grain, fresh apple, vanilla fudge, sweet ginger, liquorice and mellow spices.
Nose: Soft and inviting, with buttery grain, crisp apple and subtle liquorice.
Palate: Smooth and indulgent, with vanilla fudge, sweet ginger and creamy chai latte spices.
Finish: Mellow and lingering, with rich fruit, an oily texture and gentle warming spices.
Serve: Enjoy neat in a Glencairn glass, allowing it to breathe before adding a few drops of water to explore its sweet, spiced character.
