Ms Better's Cafe Maderas Coffee Bitters is a rich, aromatic cocktail bitter that brings the deep, complex flavors of premium coffee to your drinks with sophistication and versatility. Crafted by Ms Better's Bitters using high-quality, all-natural ingredients, these bitters capture the essence of freshly roasted coffee with layers of chocolate, caramel, and warm spice that enhance cocktails without the heaviness or sweetness of coffee liqueurs. The name "Cafe Maderas" reflects the coffee's earthy richness and the complementary wood notes from aging and botanicals, creating a bitter that adds depth, warmth, and complexity to both spirit-forward and lighter cocktails. Just a few dashes transform drinks by adding coffee's aromatic intensity and subtle bitterness, making these bitters an essential ingredient for bartenders and home enthusiasts looking to add sophisticated coffee character without turning every drink into a dessert cocktail.
The bitters present a dark brown color and an inviting aroma of roasted coffee beans with notes of dark chocolate, vanilla, and subtle baking spices. The flavor is rich and coffee-forward with the characteristic bitterness of quality espresso balanced by hints of caramel, cocoa, and warm spice that add complexity and depth. A few dashes work beautifully in whiskey cocktails like Old Fashioneds and Manhattans, add dimension to rum drinks, create interesting complexity in tequila and mezcal cocktails, and can even enhance espresso martinis or coffee-based drinks with additional layers. The coffee character pairs particularly well with aged spirits, brown liquors, and dark rums, but creative bartenders have found uses across the cocktail spectrum. Beyond cocktails, these bitters can enhance whipped cream, simple syrups, or even be added to actual coffee for an extra layer of complexity. Whether you're building a comprehensive bitters collection, seeking to add coffee depth to cocktails without sweetness or cream, or looking for a versatile ingredient that brings warmth and sophistication to spirit-forward drinks, Ms Better's Cafe Maderas Coffee Bitters delivers authentic roasted coffee character and professional quality in every concentrated dash.
