Enhance your espresso extractions with a properly distributed and tamped coffee puck. While a good tamping technique contributes to the latter, coffee distribution poses a greater challenge due to the tendency of coffee grounds to clump when dispensed from many espresso grinders. To address this, specialty cafes often prioritize distribution, and skilled baristas are increasingly using coffee distribution tools before tamping.
Introducing the MOTTA Coffee Distribution Tool. Crafted by Metallurgica Motta, a renowned manufacturer of espresso accessories, this tool features three sloped fins and adjustable height settings. By using this tool, you can ensure that the coffee in your portafilter is evenly distributed before tamping, leading to improved espresso extractions.
Features:
- Size: 53mm or 58mm
- Weight: ~0.5kg
- 3 angled fins for distribution
- Adjustable height
- Made of stainless steel
