Monkey 47 x A Bathing Ape (BAPE) Edition is an exclusive capsule collaboration between Monkey 47 Schwarzwald Gin and the iconic Japanese streetwear brand A Bathing Ape — Monkey 47's eccentrically wunderbar jungle print fusing with BAPE's iconic camouflage design to create a bottle that combines premium Black Forest gin craft with one of the most recognized names in global street fashion.
The collaboration brings together two brands that share an obsessive attention to detail and a collector's appeal in their respective categories. Monkey 47, produced in the Black Forest region of Germany by Alexander Stein at the Black Forest Distillers, uses 47 botanicals in each batch — including flowers, berries, fruits, and roots native to the Schwarzwald — macerated in neutral grain spirit and distilled in a traditional Arnold Holstein still. The 47 botanicals produce a gin of extraordinary aromatic complexity that has made Monkey 47 the benchmark for high-botanical-count gin worldwide. The BAPE bottle design is as collectible as the gin inside — a limited collaboration piece for those who inhabit both the premium spirits and streetwear worlds.
