Monkey 47 Distiller's Cut 2024 Schwarzwald Dry Gin originates from the Black Forest (Schwarzwald) region of Germany, renowned for its pristine environment and traditional distilling methods. This limited edition expression, part of the Distiller’s Cut series, is crafted with a unique blend of botanicals, including lavender, spruce shoots, and other local ingredients, offering a distinctive and vibrant character. It celebrates the spirit of innovation and nature, embodying the essence of its origin.
On the palate, Monkey 47 Distiller's Cut delivers a complex yet harmonious profile with prominent notes of juniper, citrus zest, and a subtle herbal undertone. There is a fine balance between floral and earthy flavors, which are enhanced by the inclusion of seasonal botanicals that shift with each year's edition. The gin is smooth, with a slight dryness and a lingering finish that showcases the craftsmanship and bold creativity behind the creation.
Best enjoyed in classic cocktails such as a Gin and Tonic or Martini, this gin also shines as a sipping spirit when served with a twist of citrus or a sprig of rosemary. With an alcohol content of 47%, it strikes the perfect balance between aromatic intensity and refreshing smoothness, making it an exceptional choice for both casual enjoyment and mixology experiments.
