Introduction
Monday Zero Alcohol Rum is a non alcoholic spirit originating from San Diego, California. The brand was founded with a mission to support a cultural shift toward self care and mindful living, allowing individuals to enjoy adult beverages without compromise. Each bottle is handcrafted in small batches at the company's Southern California distillery using natural ingredients.
Spirit Description
This non alcoholic rum alternative presents a bold and dark appearance inspired by the aged rums of the Caribbean. The aroma features sweet notes of sugar cane and tropical fruit layered with the scent of fresh tobacco leaf. On the palate, it delivers a complex blend of burnt caramel, banana, butter pecan, and oaky vanilla, with subtle undertones of roasted coffee and mocha. The body is rich and textured, leading to a long finish with a satisfying hint of heat. This beverage contains 0% alcohol by volume.
Distinctive Features
Monday Zero Alcohol Rum is distinguished by its use of natural ingredients sourced from the Caribbean to ensure an authentic flavour profile. It is a health conscious choice, being vegan, gluten free, and keto friendly, with only 5 calories and 0g of carbohydrates per serving. The production process focuses on maintaining the ritual of traditional spirits, offering a big 8 allergen free product that is also low in sugar.
Serving Suggestions
To experience the spirit at its best, it should be treated like a premium aged rum and mixed in a 1:1 ratio for classic cocktails. It is ideal for a 'Dark and Stormy' when mixed with ginger beer and lime, or a 'Classic Daiquiri' with fresh lime juice and simple syrup. For a more sophisticated serve, it can be used in a 'Rum Old Fashioned' over a large ice cube with bitters and an orange twist. It also pairs simply and effectively with cola for a refreshing, alcohol free highball.
